Today I want to share with you some of the theory I have learnt about traditional eastern medicine and how it helps our health. I expect many of you are aware of this, but I wasn't until I came to Innersound Ancestry, and if you don't know about it I think you will find it interesting and useful.
Traditional oriental medicine works on the principle that the body has energy channels and centres through which Qi energy circulates. When there is a lack of energy in this system , blockages or an imbalance of yin and yang energy then Qi doesn't circulate properly resulting in stagnation. It is the circulation of Qi which governs the circulation of blood.  So when the Qi doesn't circulate well then blood doesn't circulate well meaning that our cells are starved of oxygen and nutrients and less able to detoxify. This coupled with the change in temperature to the body results in our myriad diseases.
So it is poor circulation of blood produced by poor circulation of Qi which causes disease. But this is not the end of the story. According to the Ancients it is the mind which governs the circulation of Qi. So when we experience emotions too frequently it imbalances the mind. Of course our emotions are there for a reason, if we had no emotions we would be dead, they are a survival mechanism. For instance without fear I would not worrying about avoiding an oncoming bus. The problem is when we feel emotions too often. So a really good doctor never needs to treat his patients as he helps them through spiritual cultivation to control their mind and their health. With the Innersound Ancestry system we help people to realx their minds and control their emotions through chanting, meditation and movements akin to chi gung.
So to recap disease is caused by poor circlation of blood which is caused by poor circulation of Qi which in turn is caused by a mind troubled too frequently by desires and emotions. Through spiritual practise the emotions can be calmed by controlling the five desires which give rise to them : food, sex, power, wealth and fame.
Sometimes people are not able to control their minds through meditation alone. This brings us on to the deep cause of disease which is karma. This is what we are dealing with at Innersound Ancestry. In Traditional Chinese Medicine the kidneys are referred to as the seat of the Ancestors. This shows that the doctors of ancient times understood that the actions of our Ancestors creates our good luck and bad luck, our health and wellbeing. By removing our Ancestral karma we can make much quicker progress with spiritual practise and make our energetic foundations strong. This is why the Taoists, Buddhists, Hindu's and most cultures around the world engage in respecting Ancestors through ceremonial practise.

In my previous posts I have been introducing a little of the theory behind the spiritual practise of Innersound Ancestry. Today I would like to share someone's actual experience of the benefits of removing karma through ceremonial practise. I believe this really brings home how much we are effected by the spirit world.
At Innersound Ancestry we are involved everyday with helping people remove their problems on a physical, mental or emotional level through respection ancestral spirits.
Here are the stories of some of the people who have been helped by Innersound Ancestry.

“Since I have finished the Innersound Ancestry healing I no longer have cravings for comfort food. I have stopped taking drugs fro primary sleep disorder and have begun to sleep properly, getting at least 3/4 hours most nights. This is the best amount of sleep that I have had in over 4 years. I had been getting as little as 8 hours a week.
My emotions are more stable and have been able to remember several unkind things that I did as a young child which caused me to cry a good deal during meditation.
Spiritually I am more aware of energy around me. I am doing everything mindfully, therefore less likely to cause hurt to anyone through careless actions or words. I am able to gather my thoughts in and reflect.
My family has noticed that I am more alert, look much healthier and am more like my old self”.
Lorraine, age 43, April 2010

“For the last 13 years I had to follow a very strict alimentary diet. I could not tolerate many foods such as dairy, sugar (jncluding fruit), beef, pork, tea and coffee, yeast and fermented foods, vinegary food, fungus food such as mushrooms…If I was to eat any of the above my body would slowly shut down. My vision would start to go, I would become bed ridden for at least 2 days with and feel irritable. At the beginning of the 24 days Innersound Ancestry healing I have had the incredible feeling that I could suddenly be able to eat everything again, in moderation. I have not looked back ever since and, although I have maintained a very healthy diet, I can eat normal food and enjoy meals with friend and family. I do not suffer anymore from any of these terrible symptoms I used to have.”
Julia, age 42, March 2008

“I was very unbalanced when I started the training. I realised how much my actual state of mind depended on my ancestors’ influence after my very first ceremony: a sense of lightness and calm took over from my anxiety and worries. I feel much more serene and happier now, I’m definitely sleeping better and I have realised that what we do with our lives will influence our future generations.

Innersound Ancestry Healing has improved my well-being but also made me discover my spiritual side. I feel I have a more defined purpose in this life”.

Marco, age 33, July 2009

Testimonials like these illustrate very well how many of our problems come from ancestral karma.
Be it physical, mental or emotional it is our energetic inheritance that dictates our luck and our future.

Hello,

In this post I am including the last instalment of the article on Innersound Ancestry. This will give you a comprehensive overview of  what we do and why we do it.
I hope that these posts have inspired you to keep learning more about this universal, ancient practise which is now being brought back to the West.
Over the next few weeks I will be expanding on the themes touched upon in this overview. Of course there are some huge subject matters here: life after death, the relationship between mind body and spirit, spirit possession, karma, Qi and Taoism to name but a few. I will be drawing on many different sources both spiritual and anthropological to illustrate the universality of these concepts throughout the world.
As I mentioned before the practise of respecting ancestors has died out in the West but there is still a lot of interest in the spirit world. The large numbers of cinema goers who have down the years watched films such as the Amityville Horror, The Mothman Prophecy and the Exorcism of Emily Rose wont dispute this. And of course lets not forget that many of these films were based on people's actual experiences.
Anyone who has attended a Mind Body Spirit festival, walked to the end of a British Pier or seen an ad for a Medium's premium rate phone line will have noted  the interest that still abides in messages from the spirit world. So while a deep interest in the invisible world still exists we have little opportunity to channel this positively(excuse the pun). I hope to provide a safer and more fruitful avenue for people to explore the existance of the invisible world.

Ancestral healing  releases spirits from their connection with the descendants by clearing their karma and healing the energy pattern that holds the information of their physical lives. It consists of three parts: separation, purification and deliverance. Spirits who have little karma and cultivated their minds during their lives are easily guided, but those with much karma and defiant and wilful minds can take much longer to submit to the healing process. The descendants, however, are the bridge between this world and their ancestors, and play the most crucial role in helping their ancestors achieve deliverance from this world. The ancestors, who no longer have a body, have to be healed through the body of the descendant, and it is through one’s love and great willingness to help the ancestors that healing can take place. We can make an analogy with a tree, with our ancestors being the roots, we are the trunk, and our children, the fruit. Generally, a tree is only as healthy as its roots, but the trunk is what holds the tree and is the link between the roots and the fruit. We are the link between the past and future generations and play an important role in ensuring their wellbeing.

Here is the latest instalment of my on going attempt to explain and interest people in the practise of Innersound Ancestry. I hope you find this interesting.

During physical life we exist within time and space, but after death, time and space cease to exist. This is the reason people who had near-death experiences claim that they can travel great distances in no time, and can see their whole lives flash before them in an instant. Studies conducted into near-death experiences concluded that consciousness, or the soul, might continue to exist after the brain has ceased to function. The findings, by two eminent doctors of heart attack survivors, reported that a number of those people experienced vivid encounters with bright lights and other-worldly beings after they were pronounced clinically dead. One of the authors of the study, Dr. Peter Fenwick, a neuropsychiatrist at the Institute of Psychiatry in London said that: “These people were having these experiences when we wouldn’t expect them to happen, when the brain shouldn’t be able to sustain lucid processes or allow them to form memories that would last…If the mind and brain can be independent, then that raises questions about the continuation of consciousness after death. It also raises the question about a spiritual component to humans and about a meaningful universe with a purpose rather than a random universe.”

Ancestral healing relies on a deeply mystical understanding of the laws of nature and the origin of human beings. Life is essentially light, sound, energy, movement, vibration, frequency and cycle. Through the use of specific sound vibrations, light and energy can be transmitted to spirit to free it from the burdens of its physical life and to change its level of brightness to a higher state. The spirit, having no material body, absorbs light and energy better than the living, as it is much harder for energy and light to penetrate through a solid physical body. In time, it detaches from its connection with the descendants, freeing them from its influence. It is important to understand that we also receive much beneficial influence from our ancestors, particularly from those who cultivated themselves during their lives, but as we have many hundreds of ancestors over a period of four generations, those who are not well and carrying much anguish will affect us negatively. It is only those spirits who have not detached from their earthly lives that can adversely affect us, for those who maintained their level of spiritual brightness during their lives, at death, depart from this world and do not exert any negative influence over it.
